Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026. This is a starting template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before you rely on it.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Sigent ("the Service"), operated by Royal Bengal AI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Sigent helps you draft, upload, send, and electronically sign documents, and produces a certificate of completion for signed documents. Drafts and templates are software output and are not legal advice.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Electronic signatures

You agree that electronic signatures collected through the Service are intended to be legally binding where permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for confirming that electronic signing is valid for your specific documents and jurisdiction.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, to send documents you are not authorized to send, or to impersonate others. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. Usage limits apply per plan. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing area; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Document drafts are tooling, not legal advice, and Royal Bengal AI is not your lawyer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
